Applications in Rigid Foam Insulation
Rigid polyurethane foam applications include insulation panels, refrigerator insulation and spray foam. The suitable grade depends on the complete formulation and the production process. A grade identified for one application should be assessed against the requirements of another before use.

Specifications and Product Selection
When comparing grades, review the current manufacturer technical data sheet (TDS), including NCO content, viscosity at the stated test temperature and other relevant specifications. Keep the stated units, test conditions and specification limits with each value. A typical value and a guaranteed specification limit do not mean the same thing.
Grade names are manufacturer-specific. Similar descriptions or individual specification values do not by themselves establish that two products are interchangeable. Provide the full manufacturer and grade name when requesting a comparison.
