Overview

A-1 is a 70% solution of bis(2-dimethylaminoethyl) ether (BDMAEE), usually in dipropylene glycol, supplied as a colorless to light yellow liquid. It is a strong blowing catalyst that promotes the water–isocyanate reaction.

Storage

Store in tightly closed containers in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place, away from acids and oxidizers. Amines can absorb moisture and carbon dioxide from the air.
