Overview
Huntsman 1801 pure MDI is a pure 4,4′-diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) containing less than 2.0% (wt) of the 2,4′ isomer and stabilized to prevent yellowing. This material is mainly used in the production of elastomers and thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU), and can also be used in the production of dyes, adhesives and coatings.
